Kingsgate’s Market Updates

At the end of March and as the COVID-19 shutdown began, my team and I knew we would face roadblocks Kingsgate hasn’t seen in our over 30 years in business. However, we had confidence that despite these challenges we would navigate them by continuing our company mission. Our mission statement reads, “Through our people, processes, and technology, we provide innovative and creative transportation solutions for our customers in a way that creates significant value to them and their customers.”

One element of our mission that we have invested in and improved upon rigorously in that past two years is our technology. Kingsgate now is equipped with data that we knew could help our customers and we set out to share this throughout the pandemic and will continue to do so after. We’re sharing this information through our weekly “Market Update.”

As our Senior VP of Strategy and Innovation Tom Curee said in his LinkedIn post last week, “…data isn't where it ends, it's where it begins. For the last few years, we've been building an arsenal of data at Kingsgate so we can bring a higher level of service to our clients. The trick is, you have to make the data actionable and valuable to the users across the organization. This will set apart those who are just early adopters and those who are truly innovators.”
