West Chester, OH – On Thursday, the Dayton Business Journal named Kingsgate Logistics as the 2020 Women-Owned Business of the Year. Kingsgate, a strategic third-party logistics provider, is thrilled to receive this award and excited to be named as the best in business in the region. This is the fourth time Kingsgate has been a part of the Business of the Year awards, winning the Family-Owned Business of the Year in 2019 and winning the Women-Owned Business of the Year in 2017.
“This recognition is an absolute honor for Kingsgate and we are grateful for strong female visionary leaders,” said Jeff Beckham, Owning Partner. “While our dad often gets the credit for starting Kingsgate, none of us would be here if not for the strength and encouragement of our mom to take the risk and start this company.”
Kingsgate founders Merry and Tom Beckham knew the importance of integrity, honesty and transparency in the logistics industry, values that are still engrained in the company culture to this day. Kingsgate fosters an environment where employees look forward to coming into work each day in what can, at times, be a difficult industry. The company strives to make both employees and customers feel like family.
Kingsgate is honored to receive this recognition and would like to thank their employees, customers and carriers for helping the business reach this success. Additionally, the company would like to extend congratulations to all the other businesses honored last week.
